Notepad++ (NPP) Language Highlighter for Stata Dark Mode

The easiest way to open / edit your Stata do or ado file to dark mode via NPP (Notepad++). This version iterate your do or ado file into compatible Stata 16 native do file editor (dark mode). Therefore, if you are in Stata 15 or lower, you would still be able to Dark Mode your do file under NPP.

You should import this xml file into your define-language option under your NPP drop-down menu (Language -> Define your language -> import -> import the xml file)
