Participants will be introduced to ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, which embodies a profound philosophy rooted in the concepts of balance and harmony. This philosophy is influenced by various sources, including the Chinese principle of yin and yang, Japanese cultural aesthetics like those of Zen Buddhism, and the concept of wabi-sabi—acceptance of imperfection and impermanence in beauty.
