- First appearance of Niles' new apartment at The Montana, where he will live for the remainder of the series. In How To Bury A Millionaire, Niles is temporarily forced to move out after Maris freezes all of his assets, before returning for good in Taps At The Montana when the divorce with Maris is finalized. In season nine, Daphne moves in with Niles and remains there for the rest of the series as well.
CONTINUITY
- Carol Larkin, portrayed as a lush, spills wine on her dress both in this episode and when she is seen two years later.
BEHIND THE SCENES
- The episodes gets its title from Harper Lee's novel "To Kill a Mockingbird". Rosemary Murphy, who guests in this episode, played the part of Maudie Atkinson in the 1962 film, To Kill a Mockingbird.
ERRORS
- During Frasier's stalling, Stephanie tells him that she has an early morning flight [from Seattle] to Paris. Presuming that affluent folks take nonstop flights, it would have been an early afternoon flight (2PM or so, Pacific time).
