The Great Crane Robbery is the 4th episode of Season 8 of Frasier.
Synopsis[]
FOR KISS-UP FRASIER, IMITATION IS NOT SINCEREST FORM OF FLATTERY -- Frasier's (Kelsey Grammer) bootlicking routine backfires when he invites the new radio station owner (guest star Alan Tudyk), a nouveau-riche dot-com millionaire with a reputation for stealing ideas, to his tastefully decorated home and later is shocked to discover that his young boss not only bought a condo in his building but copied exactly his entire decor scheme -- minus Martin's (John Mahoney) ratty lounge chair. Meanwhile, Niles (David Hyde Pierce) continues to secretly romance Daphne (Jane Leeves) but must cooperate with his haughty wife Mel (guest star Jane Adams) if he wants an annulment by agreeing to embarrass himself in public so that she can appear as "the good guy."
