Synopsis[]
STEALING BEAUTY – Roz arranges a blind date for Frasier (Kelsey Grammer). He is pleasantly surprised by the beautiful woman she chose. Bulldog also competes for her attention. Meanwhile, Daphne ruins Martin's favorite shoes. She searches to replace the hard-to-find footwear. Niles realizes he needs more patients, to make ends meet, and considers placing an ad in a local publication.

- Numerous references are made to the fact that Frasier hasn't been with a woman since the previous Christmas. This is in fact true, and the woman in question was Kate Costas. Frasier's next relationship is not until the beginning of season 5, where he meets Kelly Easterbrook.
- The caller who calls Frasier a "weenie" is former basketball star Julius Erving, whose name Bulldog used in a prank call to Frasier the season before in Leapin' Lizards.
