A new home for our IRC presence
The FOSDEM IRC channels have been moved to the Libera.Chat network.
Please join us on the #fosdem channel there. All other #fosdem-* channels and the Matrix bridge will be available soon.
As some of our previous channels on the FreeNode network have been taken over by the new staff, these channels are no longer affiliated with FOSDEM. The FOSDEM organisation is saddened by this act of hostility towards the community.
We urge our users to leave these channels as soon as possible and move to the new ones on Libera.Chat.
We would like to remind you that any channel using the FOSDEM name or anyone posing as FOSDEM staff on other IRC networks is not affiliated with the FOSDEM organisation.

Videos on video.fosdem.org
All talks have been recorded and they will be made available on video.fosdem.org/2021 as soon as the presenter reviews their talk.
For FOSDEM 2021, we make a mix of the original recording submitted by the presenter and the Q&A happening in the main room. To make sure that the result is up to our quality standards, we request that the original presenter reviews the video so the result contains no errors or mistakes. This can take a while.
We expect that it will take some days to some weeks for all videos to become available at video.fosdem.org/2021.
See our FAQ and video.fosdem.org/2021 for more information.

T-shirts and hoodies available!
An important part of our programme: the T-shirts and hoodies. They are (again) available, and contrary to normal practices, you won't have to stand in line to get them and they won't run out!
For the online edition, we partnered with an print-on-demand provider, which means that they won't run out at Saturday noon, as they normally do.
Visitors from the EU can go to treasure.fosdem.org, offering shipping to the EU.
If you want to ship to a destionation outside of the EU, go to row.treasure.fosdem.org.
If you can't find your country in either of the shops, send an e-mail to treasure-at-fosdem-dot-org with how much hoodies/T-shirts you wish to order.
Find more information on our T-shirts and hoodies page.

FOSDEM 2021 almost there!
FOSDEM 2021 is only in several hours, so now is the time to check the schedule and mark all talks and stands that interest you! For a preview of how everything looks and works, go to the virtual conference floor and click on any of the links (they all work!).
Talks and stands can be found on the schedule (look for the S building to find the stands). All of them will have several links to a live stream (called Video only), a live stream with the Q&A visible (called Video with Q&A) and a dedicated chatroom (called Join the conversation!). Stands will also have a link to visit their stand (called Visit the stand). Click on any of the links to see what is going on!
Chatting and Q&A is done with Matrix (allthough other networks are available) via chat.fosdem.org. Now is a very good time to test it out so you are sure that everything works during FOSDEM so you won't miss any of the fun!
Find more details on the practical information page and we hope to see you this weekend!

Visit FOSDEM 2021: attending a talk
FOSDEM is all about talks, so we're going to delve a bit deeper in that topic.
FOSDEM 2021 Online will happen through fosdem.org/2021/schedule, our main website. Each talk is in a room, and each room maps to a virtual room on chat.fosdem.org, combining video and Q&A.
We'll add a link to each room, but the virtual room name is the same as the room name minus the bit before the dot. So you can find the M.misc room at chat.fosdem.org/#/room/#misc:fosdem.org. You do not need an account to view the talks in the virtual room.
