A half heart attempt at the phenomenon where the sun will set align with the east-west bound street.
Check out all the people on the bridge. They were all there for the same reason as I did.
Princes Street is one of the major thoroughfares in central Edinburgh, Scotland, and the main shopping street in the capital. It is the southernmost street of Edinburgh's New Town, stretching around 1 mile (1.6 km) from Lothian Road in the west, to Leith Street in the east. The street is mostly closed to private cars, with public transport given priority. The street has virtually no buildings on the south side, allowing panoramic views of the Old Town, Edinburgh Castle, and the valley between.

I wasn't entirely planning on being in this spot this morning but as chance had it, I was. And it was foggy...and it is autumn...and this moment caught my eye and I snapped it up. I am not sure if this is my favorite view here in the city or not, but what I do know is that this scene has embedded itself deeply within my relationship to my walk to work. Something that I look forward to daily and throughout the year. Iam also sure that in the next year it will not be my last time to capture a scene here. Cheers and have a nice weekend.
