Twenty-five minutes past sunset, the sky gave me a final beautiful orange color. The smoke is from US Magnesium 11 miles (17km) away

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I chose one of my older pictures
to represent the sunny summer season well
by some exuberant cheerful colorful flowers
Got a message that "Color My World Daily" has its orange day, so I thought it would post this orange kalanchoe (name taken off the label of a similar plant, don't tell me off if it's wrong). Seems to be fitting for such a hot day. I hope everybody got through it alright.

So named because of the male's bright orange tips to his forewings. The males are a common sight in spring, flying along hedgerows and damp meadows in search of the more reclusive female which lacks the orange and is often mistaken for one of the other 'White' butterflies. The undersides are mottled green and white and create a superb camouflage when settled on flowerheads such as Cow Parsley and Garlic Mustard Alliaria petiolata. The male is able to hide his orange tips by tucking the forewings behind the hindwings at rest. On close examination of the mottling, the green colour can be seen to be made up of a mixture of black and yellow scales. The butterfly is found across Europe, and eastwards into temperate Asia as far as Japan.
For this weeks theme I used a sliced orange and a half sliced blueberry. I particularly liked how the blueberry has the top middle part that gives more depth to the eye. I used some candies to represent the pellets Pac Man gobbles. :) Photo straight out of camera.
Hope you guys like it. HMM!!!
"Fox and cubs" growing in my lawn again this year. I made sure to mow around these lovely wildflowers. Maybe the English common name comes from the fox colour (kind of!) and the cubs are the unopened buds? And the whiskers?
Longwings I've never seen before! Orange Julia. Butterflies are some of the most beautiful creatures.
