The Alabama Hills, viewed against the background of the Sierra Nevada Range and Mount Whitney near Lone Pine, California. Location for over 380 Hollywood movies, mostly Westerns, since the 1920’s. Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz filters.
Nelle foreste dolomitiche l'autunno giunge in punta di piedi. Giunge, la terza stagione, con le luci radenti delle mattine fredde, in cui la nebbia ristagna a fondovalle. Giunge con i primi bagliori accesi dai larici e dalla betulle dei boschi d'avamposto. Giunge con il richiamo dei piccoli migratori, che si contendono i pinoli e con il bramito dei cervi, che risuona come una musica ancestrale nelle valli nascoste. Giunge con fremiti lievi, come di poesia ..... ..
Watching the sunset over the Mont Blanc massif from above Les Houches on the west side of the valley, right at the snowline, the mountain Ibex were particularly friendly that evening!
