The flower, I believe, is a Hawaiian Sunset Hibiscus, photographed on a recent day at the Chicago Botanic Garden's Butterflies and Blooms exhibit. The blossom visitor and its buddy flying past are Julia (Dryas iulia) butterflies.
The European rabbit is a genus of the hares and rabbits family. It is the only species in the genus Oryctolagus. The lagomorphs still have 2 small teeth behind their upper incisors, the pin teeth, the lower teeth wear against this. Rodents do not have these extra teeth. So contrary to popular belief…..a rabbit is not a rodent !!

A quiet place to walk through in the Japanese Gardens, Mount Coot-tha Brisbane. The greens were varied and lovely here so I used a colour image. If I was clever enough this might look serene in detailed monochrome with only the scattered flowers in selective colour though.
Devils Garden is one of the many rock attractions in the Hole-in-the-rock-road area near Escalante, Utah, USA, also part of the "Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument".
These gardens opened to the public again in Spring 2019. people flocked there. Sadly the pandemic resulted in another closure.

The azalea and clivia walkway at the Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby, northern Sydney. Lisgar Gardens, located on a hillside in the heart of Hornsby, is a well established garden that is known for its range of camellias, as well as its secluded location.
The gardens, covering an area of 2.6 hectares (6.5 acres), are often referred to as "The Secret Gardens" and feature a variety of native and exotic plant species.
Built on a steep hillside, the garden’s different levels were created by the construction of sandstone block walls. The gardens were actually commenced in 1917.
By 1950 the gardens were planted with rhododendrons, azaleas, gardenias and other exotics in harmony with native trees and ferns, highlighting the varieties of camellia. .
The gardens now have more than three hundred specimens of camellias (including over two hundred rare varieties), as well as mass plantings of annuals in the formal gardens. There is also
a shade house containing fish ponds. There are three waterfalls, informal lawn areas, picnic tables and rainforest walks.
It is a "treasure" of a location in northern Sydney. You can walk to it from Hornsby Railway Station. And for me, it is a walk through the blue gum forests of Berowra Creek, to reach these gardens from Cherrybrook.
