The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

I love the photo; it looks good on our wall. I do wish there had been a matte option: the gloss picks up all sorts of lighting and obscures the image from many angles. Also, Fine Art America flat out lies when they say the metal prints have a hanging wire. Nor is there a sawtooth bracket, like on the metal prints I've bought from a local vendor. Rather, their float frame has a lip, parallel with the wall, that sits on two screws ... that they don't include. Good luck getting those exactly level!

Al Hirschfeld 1903 - 2003 Al Hirschfeld’s drawings stand as one of the most innovative efforts in establishing the visual language of modern art through caricature in the 20th century. A self described “characterist,†his signature work, defined by a linear calligraphic style, appeared in virtually every major publication of the last nine decades (including a 75 year relationship with The New York Times) as well as numerous book and record covers and 15 postage stamps. Hirschfeld said his contribution was to take the character, created by the playwright and portrayed by the actor, and reinvent it for the reader.
