Munster have handed a start to Paddy Patterson in light of Craig Casey’s injury for the inter-pro showdown with Ulster on Friday night.
With the European festivities squared away, attention now turns to Belfast for the pre-Christmas URC action.
Both sides have made a number of changes for the Kingspan outing, with Iain Henderson, Nick Timoney, Cormac Izuchukwu and Nathan Doak all unavailable for the hosts.
Munster have made six changes from their Champions Cup defeat to Castres with all but one of them enforced due to injury.
Casey is set for a lengthy stint on the sidelines after the Ireland scrum-half had to be carried off in the first half last week in France.
Patterson comes into the number nine shirt with Conor Murray also unavailable for the trip up north.
Gavin Coombes returns at number eight and is joined in the back row by Jack O’Donoghue.
Tom Ahern has also come into the second row while John Ryan comes into the trio up front. The final change sees Shane Daly come back on the wing.
Ulster, meanwhile, have handed a start to John Cooney in the only change in the backline while Andrew Warwick, Alan O’Connor, James McNabney, and Marcus Rea all come into the pack.
