EW's editorial guidelines Updated on October 30, 2024 03:43PM EDT Comments Heads up Masked Singer armchair detectives: There's no new episode of the disguised celebrity singing show tonight. Due to the ongoing World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees, Fox is skipping a new episode tonight. Instead, the latest episode, which is supposed to be '60s Night and serve as the Group B finals, will air next Wednesday during the show's usual time slot of 8-9 p.m. ET/PT. In the episode, Group B finalists Goo, Bluebell, and Wasp will compete to secure their spot in the quarterfinals, and, naturally, they pay tribute to all things 1960s with performances of songs such as "House of the Rising Sun," "Do You Love Me," and "Ain't No Way." 'The Masked Singer' panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Rita Ora, and Ken Jeong. Michael Becker/FOX Unless the Ding Dong Keep It On bell is used, this means two people will be going home next week before we meet the final batch of singers for the season in Group C the following week. The last grouping is set to include the Strawberry Shortcake, Sherlock Hound, Royal Knight, Macaron, and Ice King masks. The Masked Singer reveals Chess Piece as Emmy-nominated TV star after Ken Jeong's perfect 'I'm Just Ken' performance To recap, last week's Barbie Night saw Chess Piece go home. Before the unmasking, the panel struggled with their guesses, with no one correctly guessing Chess Piece's true identity. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg picked Serena Williams, Ken Jeong guessed Issa Rae, Rita Ora chose Tyra Banks, and Robin Thicke opted for Misty Copeland. In the end, Emmy-nominated Orange Is the New Black actress, producer, and LGBTQ activist Laverne Cox was unmasked. In addition to Cox, the other major names unveiled so far in season 12 include John Elway as Leaf Sheep, Andy Richter as Dust Bunny, Paula Cole as Ship, Marsai Martin as Woodpecker, and Yvette Nicole Brown as Showbird. The season 12 contestants boast a combined 21 Grammy nominations, 68 million records sold worldwide, 336 years in the spotlight, 14 Emmy nominations, 67 million records sold, 4988 television appearances, 115 magazine covers, and 5 know Taylor Swift.
