~Hi Ed. I just noticed your edits to the Korean particle articles. Are you sure that these can only come after a noun? My Korean grammar isn't so hot but I would've expected that they can come after a pronoun as well and probably some kinds of nominal phrases whose last word is something other than a noun. — Hippietrail

Sorry for the belated answer. But you're right. Not just nouns per se but pronouns too.

My error came from forgetting that English makes a distinction between nouns and pronouns. The Korean grammar books I've been studying kind of blur that distinction. Anything that a noun can do (or which applies to a noun), applies equally to a pronoun in Korean, AFAIK.

Redirects

I deleted the redirect you made from 쇠 to 소. Currently wiktionary doesn't hard-redirect alterative or derived terms, it makes soft redirects or stub entries, e.g. rabbits says "Plural form of rabbit". Apart from that, 쇠 is better as a red link because it has other meanings, e.g. "iron". Kappa 07:12, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi,

About your question on WT:GP, yes, we Javascript here.  :-) The mostly-Javascript generated page, WT:PREFS allows you to turn on and off different items as "Wiktionary preferences" using HTTP cookies. One of them is the "Lupin popups" which load a customized version for nicer handling of Wiktionary items.
