My entry workflow
[edit]- Check SO, SAOL, and SAOB. It's easy to overlook (often very common) senses if you wing it, going on personal experience. I think SO works off the Språkbanken corpuses.
- Get translation inspiration from Reverso Context, tr-ex.me, and DeepL.
- Add the SO, SAOL, and SAOB entries that have semantic information to the "References" section.
A good-to-know pointer
[edit]SO (Svensk ordbok utgiven av Svenska Akademien) is mostly revised and modernized material from "Svensk ordbok" (via "Nationalencyklopedins ordbok"), published in 1986. Usually solid still, but if some sense seems overemphasized, that might be why, rather than your language sense failing you.
