Kinkaidian (high school yearbook from Houston, TX area)
[edit]- "Lisa Kahn". The Kinkaidian. The Kinkaid School. 1968. OCLC 32917995.
For Lisa Kahn (poet): This yearbook used to be available on isuu, and I took File:Lisa Kahn 1968.png from there without paying much attention to its copyright status, claiming fair use. If someone can access this yearbook (should be available at the school, at Rice University and possibly elsewhere) I'd love to see a double check whether the image was published without a copyright notice, which should make it public domain. (Also, I remember the yearbook contradicting RS on the question whether she taught German and French or German and psychology. Maybe all three?). If anyone can access the 1967 or 1966 yearbooks and extract a free image of Dr Kahn from there, it would be equally great. Thanks for any help, —Kusma (talk) 15:39, 10 June 2022 (UTC)

The First Division 1809–1985 or The First Division 1809–1993
[edit]For:
Per the OCLC, both editions are located in The British Library, St. Pancras, London. Unfortunately, I do not have any page references to suggest, and the work does not appear to be available online or via a snippet view on Google Books.
A discussion, grown stale, took place on if the modern 1st Division (1st (United Kingdom) Division) is the same as the 1st Division founded in 1809 (1st Division/1st Infantry Division). The above book was self-published by the modern division and the title implies such a connection, but I was hoping if someone is able to access this work they could skim it to see what it has to say (for example, a direct continuation of history from 1809 to 1985/1993, or an adopted lineage such as being formed in the 1960s and adopting the title and insignia of a disbanded prior formation etc.) or if it provides a list of commanding officers? This would be very beneficial to the above two articles, as we can firm up what they both cover and word them more accurately if they are the same or different formations.EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 14:47, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
- @EnigmaMcmxc: just an FYI, but Hereford is not in Germany. Ironically, the British Army has spent quite a lot of its recent history ensuring that didn't happen :) SN54129 16:06, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

- @EnigmaMcmxc: More or less the same request was listed here recently for 101 days, without attracting any response, so you'll probably need to go deeper than just posting here. Some possibilities:
- Ask a specific Wikipedian who in the past has been willing to do research at the British Library, such as Miyagawa or Andrew Davidson.
- The volume is also held by the Imperial War Museums,[28] and the Grenadier Guards Library,[29] although those copies may be no easier to access than those at the British Library.
- Try writing to Dr. Peter Liddell Wilson, 6 Mansfield Road, BALERNO, EH14 7LA, United Kingdom.

For Eliane Morissens. The article is referenced in other materials, like this, but I cannot find a digital copy. UPenn has this reference source, but the response I got to my query is:
"Jun 17 2022, 02:07pm via System Hi Susun, Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, our access to the International Gay Association Bulletin is through a licensed electronic resource, so we are not able to directly provide you with a copy of the item you need, because doing so would violate the terms of our licensing agreement. However, if you eventually do locate a public library in your area that participates in Interlibrary Loan, we will be happy to fulfill their request for this item on your behalf. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful with this! Best wishes, Phebe Dickson e: [email protected] | t: 215.746.4007 | www.library.upenn.edu/lippincott"
I live in southern Mexico and have no access to any library that offers inter library loan service. Is it possible for someone to receive this and tell me what the ILGA reaction to the loss of the lawsuit was?

In the new edition they are most likely to be in part 12 Adolescent Medicine, but unfortunately I can't narrow it down further as I can't find an index or more defined table of contents for the work. Terrorists or national heroes? Politics and perceptions of the OUN and the UPA in Ukraine
[edit]- Katchanovski, Ivan (2015). "Terrorists or national heroes? Politics and perceptions of the OUN and the UPA in Ukraine". Communist and Post-Communist Studies. Elsevier: 217-228.
For The Holocaust in Ukraine; this appears to be a modified version of a 2010 conference paper that has been published after being subject to peer review. Because there is a dispute regarding the extent to which the conference paper is reliable, the peer-reviewed version would help to determine if the content in the paper related to the dispute survived peer review.

Robert Payne: Massacre, page 102
[edit]- Payne, Robert (c. 1973). Massacre (The Tragedy of Bangladesh & the Phenomenon of Mass Slaughter Throughout History). p. 102. ISBN 9780025952409.
While going through an older version of the page Tikka Khan, I noticed the line, "Along with Yahya Khan, he is considered a chief architect of the 1971 Bangladesh genocide[...]", which had a Citation needed tag (the sentence has since been deleted). Upon doing some research, I found this website, which, in the section "Who was responsible?", corroborates the claim, citing Payne's 1973 work: Massacre (The Tragedy of Bangladesh & the Phenomenon of Mass Slaughter Throughout History), page 102. If someone could help verify this, I would be able to add the statement back.
To be extra precise, I am (ideally) looking for:
- A copy of page 102 of the book, if it does state that Tikka Khan was one of the chief architects of the genocide.
- If page 102 does not contain the above information, but another page within the book does, I ask for a copy of that alternate page.
