Requested move at Finland-NATO relations

[edit]

Hi there! Hope you're doing well. The RM for the page aforementioned was snow closed, even though some new ideas were sprawling. The guidelines listed at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Closing instructions#Early closure says that [i]n general, move discussions should remain open for at least seven days (168 hours) to allow interested editors adequate time to participate. However, when no one has commented yet, or if opposition is unanimous, discussions may be closed prior to the seven-day timeframe. And [a]s long as no one has suggested any outcome besides not moving, the proposer of a move may close their own move request as withdrawn. This does not seem to be the case here. Please do not prematurely close discussions unless every reply is an oppose, and not an oppose for alternative suggestion. You do not have to revert your close as I have started a new RM at Talk:Croatia–NATO relations#Requested move 4 April 2023, feel free to participate.

TL;DR: Don't close a requested move unless there is a unanimous opposition, and no alternative suggestions. Cheers, Wikiexplorationandhelping (talk) 01:56, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, I think I did it right. Nobody supported my specific proposal, and by withdrawing, it allowed for a clear discussion of a different rename proposal that I don't support. Walt Yoder (talk) 18:13, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

seems very wrong that you have removed factual info from the Cornelius Horan page just because you think it's 'tawdry', the fact it's been deleted completely seems to go against what wiki is 81.100.77.10 (talk) 18:58, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Partial follow-up AfD

[edit]

Hi, because you recently participated in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Turkic dynasties and countries, which also led to the deletion of Comparison of the Turkic states, I would like to invite you to participate in the partial follow-up Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Comparison of the Baltic states. The situation of these three pages is not exactly the same (because language family plays no role in these cases), but because many issues are similar, I've nominated them as well, and am curious what you think. Cheers, Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 08:27, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move discussion

[edit]

There is currently a Request Move discussion about William IV. Since you participated in the previous move discussion involving William IV, I thought you might want to know about this one. Cheers. Rreagan007 (talk) 19:38, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
