Every weekday in the morning student oath was to be sung by the students until it was abolished in 2013.[4] In every classroom, portrait of Ataturk, lyrics of the National Anthem and text of the Ataturk's Address to Turkish Youth hangs high up on the wall.[citation needed] In history lessons nationalistic values are promoted[5]: 20 and denialism of Armenian Genocide is taught.[6]: 787
