Hello, world. I am The Rocket Salad.

I have been using this name online for the past three decades. If you see someone out there posting under the name The Rocket Salad, it is almost certainly me. Whether by divine providence or by natural selection, no one who has ever lived, ever, has been as profoundly stupid as I must be to have selected this sobriquet. "So I've got that going for me, which is nice."

Sometimes I'm lazy. That's when I'll register under the name TRS. If that's taken, then TRS1, or TRS9k, or TRS9000 if you're not into the whole "brevity" thing. Sometimes TRS mutates into Thers ("The RS") or Trees. When I'm feeling really sassy, I go for The, just plain The - how's that for an inscrutable username? Try and find that guy in a block of quotetext!

Before I was known as The Rocket Salad, I was simply Rocket Salad. Just plain Rocket Salad is depreciated and only valid for certain special legacy support cases. I am The Rocket Salad - accept no substitute.

My real name is Steve and I live in the fair Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States of America, North America, Earth. I have two cats.
