About Thon De Baai

[edit]

My name is Thon de Baai

i'm learning how to edit Wikipedia.

i'm trying to develop my knowledge of people, organisation and policy along with analytical, practice and research skills which i can apply through industry placement.

I live in South Australia,Adelaide, I grew up with my parents until age of 35 years, currently i live with my partner and children in Adelaide northern suburb ,

my kids speak both English and my Language, English is second language to me. i'm studying at Finders University. it was very disappointed in my first year of university,

because the curriculum and the topics were little bit hard, but gradually thing seem to be interesting in second semester and I became more independent,

organised and figured out which career path I wanted to take so I'm progressing well. Before entrance to university i have Diploma in Community Services and other certificates in different field,

I love everyone so much, especially my family, parents, neighbors, friends, lecturers, tutors and staff in university and outside as well.

for my first year in Australia, i heard an important term from my neighbor during our conversation, he told me that as Australian we need reconciliation between Indigenous people and non-Indigenous people,

when i came to university it is very clear to understand and define word correctly. i learn that,Reconciliation has 5 dimensions

Equality and equity, race relations, unity, historical acceptance and Institutional integrity. it is very important to reconcile with First Nation because, the reconciliation is the restoration of friendly relation.

reconciliation is important in all levels national and regional,is about unity and respect, about strengthening relationship between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and non-Indigenous people we should support reconciliation to bring us together

I appreciated and honestly respect any Australian Citizens and even those seem to be racist. Because we are multicultural society let us hopefully maintain that spirit..

i'm not real a fun of Soccer, football and Tennis.

I like reading mostly interesting article about youth homelessness in Australia and also i like reading an article about Burka why is to be issues for debate in Australia and globally,

It came to my attention that homelessness is not simply an individual experience ,it is also a structural phenomenon driven by economic imperative beyond the control of these most

affected.the issues is disproportionately and regardless of ages its affected women than men in most societies.

When i read an article about youth homelessness i realized that there is big task needed and important responses by Australian government to deal with the issue of homelessness in current situation.

Typically, there are many causes of homelessness, including housing affordability, domestic violence, long-term unemployment, family breakdown and mental health and substance abuse.

by completion the article it was clear the problem can affect people of all ages, includes men and women as well as people from different cultural backgrounds. It can take many forms, ranging from primary homelessness, including “rough sleeping” to other forms of homelessness such as “couch surfing”. Homelessness is a problem that is not confined to a certain part of NSW and impacts on people in both the city and the suburbs as well as those in rural and regional areas of the State,[1]

there is an on going debate over the possibility of a ban on the wearing of Burka, there are currently 15 nations that have banned burka, as France became the first European country to impose a ban on full face veils in public areas.

In October 2018 the United Nations human Right Committee declared that France 's ban disproportional harmed the right of women to manifest their religious beliefs and could have the effects of " confining them to their home impeding the access to public services and marginalizing them.[2]

Adelaide University Law Students' Society

[edit]

The Adelaide University Law Students' Society, or "the LSS", is an incorporated association of which all students enrolled at the Adelaide Law School are automatically members. It was founded in 1898 and is the second oldest organisation for law students in Australia. The LSS is operated by students of the Adelaide Law School and its purpose is to improve student life at the school. Its primary activities are to organise social events, such as the annual Law Ball, to organise competitions, such as mooting and trial advocacy, and to represent the student body on law school boards and committees.[3] It also conducts a myriad of other activities aimed at assisting students and improving their time at the school. The LSS is also responsible for supporting the Adelaide Law School Revue.

there is evident that the Adelaide Law school is the most popular school Law in South Australia because the graduates law School, usual become the judges in South Australia supreme Court[4]
