Only on earth?

[edit]

A trace gas is a gas which makes up less than 1% by volume of the Earth's atmosphere; I think this definition of "trace gas" is too limited, as the Titan (moon) article says: Titan is the only known moon with a fully developed atmosphere that consists of more than just trace gases. Agreed. This article seems to be a bit "geocentric" and narrow, and should probably be expanded with trace gases in the atmosphere of other planets, moons, stars(?), maybe even trace gases in engineering (artificial gas mixtures). - Soulkeeper (talk) 20:43, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

list of gases and ppm over which they cause liver damage

68.188.203.251 (talk) 14:30, 19 September 2012 (UTC) Carbon di sulfide is found only on volcanic lips but is severely dna mutagen. I am not the person to do this article but I think it is extremely timely. How are gases identified? Is there a gas chronometer available for home use? Several theories on the net propose periodic saturation of Earth's surface of gases the cause of civilization failure and mass migration. History tells us Greece was saved by a probable gas saturation of Darius' army. I realize the difficulty of writing about measuring odorless, colorless, invisible gases and how to measure them but history warns us this is necessary. is this why civilization resorts to islands? Or Cappadocia?[reply]
