Calheiros is still president of the Senate
[edit]Calheiros has been suspended from office, not removed. He is still President of the Senate until he either (a) resigns, (b) is removed from the position of senator, or (c) his mandate ends next February. Jorge Viana is the Vice-President of the Senate.
