The division of the sections here make no sense. A reader trying to understand how Tate became an ubiquitous figure online is led from an account of his early life to his participation in a minor sport to his brief appearance on a television program to a present-tense description of his online businesses, by which time his celebrity status is already assumed. According to the news I just watched (Digi24 wich is a reliable source), who quoted many important people like Elena Lasconi and Marcel Ciolacu, Andrew and Tristan Tate were released and they are heading to America. However while I am writing this they haven't departured so there are no photos we can add yet. MR. MOAI 122456789 (talk) 13:55, 27 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This is now being widely reported (Associated Press, New York Times, NBC News, etc.). Important to note: they were not released, per se, and are "still required to appear before judicial authorities when summoned" per Associated Press. AP News has photos of them in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and they are still handcuffed to each other. But still, I'm not sure every movement of these two people is notable in a Wikipedia article. All that needs to be said is that DIICOT agreed to lift some of their travel restrictions (if that). 〜Askarion✉17:43, 27 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
And the state's attorney general, James Uthmeier, says "I directed my office to work with our state law enforcement partners to conduct a preliminary inquiry into these individuals. Florida has zero tolerance for human trafficking and violence against women. If any of these alleged crimes trigger Florida jurisdiction, we will hold them accountable." I was about to add that I have only seen that on Uthmeier's Twitter account and not in a reliable source, but then I noticed this:
