Fictional character biography
[edit]The Seven Deadly Sins are seven powerful demons representing their namesakes who can possess the bodies of others. They were freed millennia ago by Pandora before being captured by the wizard Shazam and imprisoned in statues in the Rock of Eternity.[1][2][3][4][5] The Sins have escaped their prisons on numerous occasions, including the Day of Vengeance and Dark Nights: Death Metal events.[6][7][8]
Initially, the Seven Sins were "censored" to comply with comics standards. They were identified as the '"Seven Deadly Enemies of Man", and several of their members were renamed.[2][3]
