Innitiatives
[edit]On July 18, 2024, Grema proposed the Nigeria Energy Transition Fund (NETFUND).[17] An initiative which aims to attract Foreign direct investment into the country, structured under the CEII Foreign Investment Module, aligning with the renewed hope agenda of the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.[18] Grema pitched this agenda during the African Natural Resources and Energy Investment Summit (AFNIS24) held in the Aso Villa, Abuja in August of 2024.[19][20]
In 2023, Grema spearheaded the joint landmark agreement between The CEII and Synergy Infrastructure Development & Investment Limited (SIDIL),[21] a collaboration that aims to champion decentralized energy provision for nationwide power generation in Nigeria.[22][23]
