Aristotle Dionisio (born July 21, 1995) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Magnolia Hotshots of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was selected 9th overall in the 2019 PBA draft by Magnolia Hotshots.[1]
Amateur career
[edit]Manila Stars (2018–2020)
[edit]Dionisio first played with the Manila Stars of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). During his two-year stint with the Stars, he made two all-star appearances, won a Defensive Player of the Year award, and earned two All-MPBL selections.[2]
Professional career
[edit]Magnolia Hotshots (2020–present)
[edit]On December 8, 2019, Dionisio was selected ninth overall by the Magnolia Hotshots in the 2019 PBA draft.[3][4]
In 2024, Dionisio would make his first PBA all-star appearance as a replacement for Scottie Thompson, who was injured at the time.
On March 12, 2024, he signed a three-year contract extension with the Hotshots.[5]
