The 2023–24 season was Chelsea Women's 32nd competitive season and 14th consecutive season in the FA Women's Super League, the top flight of English women's football. It was Chelsea's last season under manager Emma Hayes as she left the club at the end of the season to become the new manager of the United States women's national team.[1][2] Chelsea competed in the domestic league as four-time defending champions since the 2019–20 season, and sucessfully managed to retain the title for the fifth time in a row.[3]
