Pre-season and friendlies

[edit]- 1 Bournemouth were originally 17th at the end of Matchday 12. On 17 November 2023, Everton were deducted 10 points, subsequently bringing Bournemouth up to 16th.
- 2 Matchday 17 (vs Luton Town) was rescheduled and replayed in full due to a Tom Lockyer cardiac arrest which happened during the original match.
- 3 Matchday 29 (vs Wolverhampton Wanderers) was originally due to be played on 16 March 2024, but was postponed due to Wolves' involvement in the FA Cup.

Abandoned match with Luton Town
[edit]On 16 December 2023, during the match at home against Luton Town, defender Tom Lockyer of Luton Town collapsed due to a cardiac arrest in the 59th minute of the match resulting in the match being abandoned in the 65th minute.[67] On 20 December 2023, the Premier League ruled the match would be replayed in full at a later date.[68] On 7 February 2024, it was announced that the rearranged fixture would take place on 13 March 2024.[69]

FA Cup
[edit]Bournemouth were drawn away to EFL Championship side Queens Park Rangers in the third round.[71][72] They were drawn at home against another Championship side, Swansea City, in the fourth round, having previously faced The Swans in the second round of the season's EFL Cup.[73][74] They were given another home tie against a Championship side in the fifth round, this time being drawn against Leicester City, where they were eliminated from the competition after losing in extra time.[75]
