Please add "NotAG on AWB" to Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPageJSON and add the autoconfirmed flag. I don't think my current set of edits requires the 500/30 flag, but I'll request it later if I do. Cheers, NotAGenious (talk) 15:18, 2 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

I confirm this. NotAG on AWB (talk) 15:16, 2 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Question from Pirit1987 (11:50, 7 January 2025)

edit

Hi, I am new in here. Would like to know how I can add my dad`s autobiography to Wikipedia? I added it but in different language that why it was not approved. However, I have added a new version - in English, but do not know how to publish it. Please help. --Pirit1987 (talk) 11:50, 7 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Pirit1987,
Given that you say Draft:Sübhanverdiyev Eldar Ziyaddin oğlu is about your father, you have a conflict of interest (COI) in this subject. You need to disclose that formally; I've posted instructions on your talk page. This also means that you shouldn't attempt to publish this article in the main encyclopaedia yourself, but should put the draft through the AfC review process (as indeed you are doing, and I thank you for that).
Wikipedia articles are composed by summarising what independent and reliable sources, especially secondary ones, have previously said about a subject and what makes it worthy of note. These sources are then cited as references, so that readers can see where each piece of information has come from, and can verify it if necessary. This approach is succinctly outlined in WP:GOLDENRULE, and I recommend you read that if you haven't yet done so. Meanwhile, WP:BIO tells you what sort of sources we need to see, to establish that the subject is notable in the Wikipedia context, which is a core requirement for any subject to be included in the encyclopaedia.
