THQ Nordic acquires the Outcast IP

THQ Nordic today announced the acquisition of the intellectual property “Outcast” from the three original creators of the game.

Outcast is an action-adventure video game originally developed by Belgian developer Appeal and was first released by Infogrames for PC in 1999. Outcast has been critically acclaimed and named the "Adventure Game of the Year" by GameSpot in 1999. Since 2015, the original creators of the game have revived Appeal Studios, to work on remasters, remakes and new games based on the Outcast universe.
