Morgana continues her career for Gunmar by guiding the decisions of the Janus Order, speaking to them through an old gramophone, but abandons them after the return of Gunmar. Wanting to use this to gain Gunmar's favor over Otto, Blinky's traitorous brother, Dictatious, lies to him that the Pale Lady has blessed him with visions. Claire's Shadow Staff, after being strained in the escape from Gunmar, linked her to the Pale Lady, in which the witch received Angor Rot's stone head in order to revive him and thus be free of her imprisonment.
Morgana speaks to Claire in her reflection and called her darling. She then enters inside Claire's mouth.
Morgana calls out through the Janus Order's phonograph that she will return and is heard by Dictatious who brings the development to Queen Usurna, who is skeptical at first, until she speaks her true name, causing the witch's spirit to speak through the turntable, much to her shock. Morgana is able to communicate with Gunmar through a book in Blinky's library, revealing the location of her cave in Bulgaria. She proceeds to inform him that she requires Merlin's relic, the Staff of Avalon, which is the only tool powerful enough to free her from her prison, and after that, she will use it to bring forth the Eternal Night. She tells Gunmar that the relic is hidden within Merlin's Tomb and Angor Rot is the only one who can guide him there, but he must first travel to Aysa-Thoon in Ranthambore, India and present her the Eye of Angor Rot so she could resurrect him.

Trivia[]
- She is based on Morgan Le Fay from the Arthurian mythology.
- Morgana's voice actress, Lena Headey, had briefly played the role of Queen Guinevere for the 1998 TV miniseries, Merlin.
- Morgana bares a striking resemblance to Hela from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, both in appearance and personality.
- Morgana losing her left hand to Merlin might be a reference to the generic term the Left-Hand Path, which often refers to those who practice the dark arts: someone who focuses more on individual strength and sorcery rather than miracles — with many of the sects involved believing that true power comes from within, at worst this can manifest as extreme selfish supremacy or anarchy, but can also simply be a desire or a belief that an individual should take command of their own destiny.
- She is the fourth female major antagonist to appear in the series, along with Nomura (who reformed), Gladys, and Queen Usurna.
- Although Gunmar has been promoted and mentioned most often, Morgana is actually the ultimate true villain of the Trollhunters installment as she is the final antagonist to be defeated.
