Pro version from the net, had corrupt files (Trojans)

Pro version purchased via offer from the free version at 2PCs $14.95 loaded 3 Trojan agents during download, had I not had added protection on my PC it would have loaded my PC with all that stuff (since I have to be (PC) correct

Super AntiSpyware's PRO software has a big problem. It is not compatible with Windows 7's Administration Rights. Super AntiSpyware's Realtime Protection will not work in Windows 7 start-up. The reason people buy PRO is to have Real Time protection. Real Time Protection will only work if it loads with Windows start-up. The problem is in Super AntiSpyware's software programming. I have many other programs that start when Windows 7 loads, but not Super AntiSpyware. Customer Service will tell you to reinstall the program and that's it. If that does not work, they are done with you. Deplorable service.
Summary
Super AntiSpyware Pro works OK when you manually start it. But then what's the sense of buying PRO. If you use Windows 7, stay away from PRO. You'e just wasting money. SuperAntiSpyware FREE is all you need. I'm dumping Super AntiSpyware Pro and buying Malware Bytes Pro instead.

I have been running the free version for a while and I decided to upgrade to the professional (paid) version to get real-time protection. The upgrade was very easy and it has been running with no impact on my system speed. If you already have the free version all you have to do is enter your new key and it converts itself to professional. Subscribing through CNET is easy.
Cons
The version now is 5.7, not 5.6 as stated on the CNET page. The website states that it will run on Windows 8; the CNET page does not list Windows 8.
Summary
I was so impressed with the free version that I jumped at the CNET discount for the professional version.

Very interesting work, still found problems left by SpywareBlaster. The free trial version already got over my apprehensions, I think I'm going to buy a license. This program is not so gourmand in computer resources.

Their website is a bit too colored and the presentation should be more clear. Their prices seem to be accurate

Pros
Dependable. Seems to catch a lot of tracking cookies that some malware and antivirus programs are not catching. It has caught a few trojans and/or really bad stuff.
Cons
It really should remember what it caught and add it to a block list or allow a block option list to be compiled. Not quite that automatic in catching stuff -- have to manually run scans; it does not seem to pre-block the same items.
Summary
I like how it works along side other antivirus and malware software. I don't like how you have to manually search. Not that attractive. Slows system down, sometimes on complete scans. It really should be more intuitive with items it caught and prevent those same items from reattaching. I'm not a pro tech person, just muddle around enough to get self into trouble. Liked the product and bought it though because offered $9.95 price incentive.
Outstanding , reasonably priced Malware protection.

I've used Malwarebytes, Adaware, Spybot & Windows Defender offline tool. So far , SuperAntiSpyware out preforms them in detecting trojans . And , perhaps more importantly, I haven't had a single false positive from SuperAntiSpyware. I generally do scans in safe mode. This program seems to love the safe mode environment.
Cons
Upon buying a license for 2 machines, your offered a inexpensive option for one more. I would suggest a 5 pack option with a multiple purchase discount be added. Not really a con . More of a suggestion.

Summary
My computer would not shut down -- hung up every time. I ran NAV, Slimcleaner, CCleaner, Malwarebytes, Webroot - all said everthing was fine, but my system would not shut down properly. I ran a full scan with the free version of SuperAntispyware and eleminated all threats (it found 466). Now my computer is working great -- wonderful product. Just upgraded to the Pro for only $19.95 -- a bargin!!
