Jeffrey David "Jeff" Nathanson is an American screenwriter, director, and producer. He is known for writing screenplays for films, such as Catch Me if You Can, the Rush Hour film trilogy, The Terminal, and Tower Heist.
For Disney, he made his director debut with the 2004 Touchstone Pictures comedy The Last Shot. He also wrote the screenplay for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Most recently, he wrote the screenplay for the 2019 realistic CGI remake of The Lion King and its prequel Mufasa: The Lion King.
