Juan Moreno y Herrera-Jiménez, known professionally as Jean Reno, is a Moroccan-born French actor and voice actor. He is best known for his role as the titular character of the 1994 drama film Leon: The Professional. He also played Gilbert Ponton in the 2006 remake of The Pink Panther and voiced Le Frog in DreamWorks/Aardman's Flushed Away.
For Disney, he did the voice-over for Mufasa in the French-language version of The Lion King, a role originally performed by James Earl Jones; Vincenzo Santorini in the French-language version of Atlantis: The Lost Empire, a role originally performed by Don Novello, and Shadow in the French version of Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, a role originally performed by the late Don Ameche. He also played the role of Count Thibault de Malféte in Just Visiting.
