Hayley Catherine Rose Vivien Mills is an English actress, who gained prominence with the title role of Pollyanna which won her an Academy Juvenile Award. She would continue her success with Disney in films, like The Parent Trap, That Darn Cat!, and Summer Magic. She received her first screen kiss from Peter McEnery in Walt Disney's The Moon-Spinners.
She is the daughter of John Mills, who played Father Robinson in Swiss Family Robinson. She also has an older sister named Juliet Mills, and a younger brother named Jonathan Mills.
Her other films include Tiger Bay, Whistle Down the Wind, The Truth About Spring, The Trouble with Angels, The Family Way, and the UK miniseries The Flame Trees of Thika.
In 1971, she married Roy Boutling, and she had one son with him, Crispian Mills. She divorced from Roy Boutling in 1977. She also had another son, Jason Lawson, but from a different father - Leigh Lawson.
In 1998, she was named a Disney Legend. Four years later, her father was also named a Disney Legend.

- Mills began her career thanks to Walt Disney's wife, Lillian, when she saw her in the movie Tiger Bay.
- She was given her own collection of films The Hayley Mills Collection, in which all of her Disney titles were re-released with new covers.
- She was once considered for the role of Miss Eglantine Price in Bedknobs and Broomsticks, along with Julie Andrews, Judy Garland, Leslie Caron, Maureen O'Hara, Shirley MacLaine, Lynn Redgrave, and Judy Carne.
- She was also considered for the role of Mary Poppins as well.
- According to the Disney's Wonderful World episode "Disney Animation: The Illusion of Life", Mills was originally going to provide Eilonwy's voice in The Black Cauldron, but that role ended up being taken by Susan Sheridan.
