Eda Reiss Merin was an American actress and voice actress, who, for Disney, she voiced Orddu in The Black Cauldron and The Evil Queen in a Disney Read-Along Storybook version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as well as Touchstone Pictures' Turner & Hooch.

Merin was born in New York City and attended Hunter College before dropping out to become an actress. Working with legendary teachers such Harold Clurman, Lee Strasberg, and Elia Kazan, Merin made her presence known with several theater companies in the New York area as well as radio dramas and Broadway touring companies.

After appearing in Bertold Brecht's Galileo, she remained in Hollywood where appear in films and television while still performing on stage in New York. she guest-starred in shows like Charlie’s Angels, Police Story, Family Ties, Cagney & Lacey, Night Court, Mr. Belvedere, The Wonder Years, Highway to Heaven, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, ER, and Murder She Wrote. In films, she appeared in To Be or Not To Be, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, The Frisco Kidl and 1984's Ghostbusters.

Merin was also one of the organizers of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), an acting teacher and coach, and a long-standing member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
