Stuart Bruce Greenwood is a Canadian actor and musician, known for his deep husky voice. For Disney, he played Dr. Davis McClaren in the 2006 drama Eight Below, FBI Special agent Jack McCready in the Touchstone Pictures film Deja Vu, and the president in the 2007 film National Treasure: Book of Secrets. He also appeared as a guest star in Road to Avonlea.
Born in Canada, Greenwood is known for his collaborations with filmmaker Atom Egoyan, such as Exotica, The Sweet Hereafter, Ararat, Devil's Knot and The Captive. He has also appeared in J.J. Abrams's Star Trek reboot series as Capt. Christopher Pike, Bring Julia, Elephant Song, Racing Stripes, Thirteen Days, Gerald's Game, I'm Not There, Double Jeopardy, I, Robot, Capote, Déjà Vu, WildLike, Firehouse Dog, Meek's Cutoff, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Flight, The Place Beyond the Pines, The Post, and Doctor Sleep.
In television, he played Dr. Randolph Bell in the Fox drama The Resident. His other credits include St. Elsewhere, Matlock, Knots Landing, Mad Men, Young Justice, The Fall of the House of Usher, and the miniseries The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
