Robert Michael "Bobby" Cannavale (pronounced cah-nuh-VAH-lay) is an American actor and voice actor, known for his distinctive husky voice. He is best known for his lead role as Roberto "Bobby" Caffey in the NBC crime drama series Third Watch (1999-2001). He is also well-known for voicing Valiente and his father in the 2017 Blue Sky Studios film Ferdinand, Frankie in The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature, and Jimmy Crystal, in the 2021 Universal/Illumination film Sing 2.
For Disney, he portrayed James "Jim" Paxton in the Marvel films Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp. He also played Chic in the 2004 Miramax film Shall We Dance?.
