Lowry’s Masterpiece Kitchen, set at 84 Rampart Way next to Lucky Cat and North is temporarily closed after a fire caused structural damage on April 1 early in the morning. The fire, which occurred while the restaurant led by chef Justin Brunson was closed, consumed an interior wall in the restaurant. No staff or guests were injured.
As the incident occurred, local fire department responded to the fire and was able to quickly control the flames. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
"I am grateful that the fire did not cause any personal injuries to my staff and our guests," Brunson said. "We plan to rebuild and reopen as soon as possible and will continue to serve the Lowry community and be an important part of the upcoming dining scene in Lowry."
The one year old restaurant recently updated the menu to focus on seasonal shared plates that include dishes like roasted parsnips, confit duck empanadas, adn chili rubbed steak. Updates to the space were also completed in the last month. No reopening date was announced.
