Early next month, Pino's Place (formerly Pino's Neighborhood Restaurant and Pizzeria), will reopen its doors in Cherry Hills Village. The restaurant, owned by Italian-born chef Pino Saverino, first opened in 2011. A recent renovation expanded the space with the goal of better serving his customers and friends. The 800 sqft build out includes a new bar area with a Ligurian stone bar and additional tables, an open kitchen with chef's table seating for 8-10 guests.
While chef Pino will continue to focus on his now-popular classic Tuscan-style of cooking, he made additions to the happy hour, lunch, dinner and cocktail menus, Wednesday and Sunday specials, and a new schedule for his popular Sunday afternoon cooking classes (beginning July 17). Highlights include $6 happy hour, and Chef' Pino's fresh take on American classics - including an Italian-style grilled cheese (served on grilled focaccia with fresh herbs and a side of homemade tomato sauce. Still on the menu, guests will find Pino's Pizza of the Week and risotti, among others.
