El Jefe at Los Chingones; Mu Brewery Beer Release; More

RINO - On February 11 starting at 4 p.m., Los Chingones will launch its El Jefe series with a guest chef dinner with Brandon Foster of Vesta Dipping Grill. Foster will put together his version of the taco - Colorado lamb picadillo. The taco includes smoky plantain puree, chayote slaw, and candied lime. AURORA- On February 12 starting at 4 p.m., Mu Brewery will release Noble Beginnings, a German ale brewed in collaboration with the Northeast Community Co-op Market. The brewery is located at 9735 E Colfax Avenue.

AVON - On February 13, Maya, the modern Mexican restaurant located in the Westin Hotel in Avon, is hosting a New Latin Flavors dinner and booking signing with chef Richard Sandoval. The dinner, which starts at 7 p.m., will feature four courses paired with Arta Tequila cocktails. The cost is $75 per person and each guest will receive a personally signed copy of chef Sandoval's cookbook. For reservations, call 970.790.5500.

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS - Old Chicago kicked off its third installment in the beer Explorer Series. This series features a collaboration with Left Hand Brewing and Allegro Coffee Company. The result is the De'Nileä Coffee Ale - a coffee pale ale. The ale was brewed by Old Chicago with Left Hand brewers, using Allegro Coffee's Blue Nile blend. Other selections from Left Hand Brewing will also be available during the series. These include: Milk Stout Nitro, Sawtooth Ale Nitro, 400 Pound Monkey, Wake Up Dead Nitro.
