The soap pump that shoots foam at my belly. The coffee machine that looks like it’s arrived from a Starbucks bench. The curtain that gets hung up every time I try to open it. A leg brace refusing to be shoved flush with the heel. So many Velcro straps requiring practice! Finding the one knife with an edge.
A super comfy mattress and pillows. Nice pillows on the couch. For the big picture windows: automated blind-operators that I figured out two trips ago. A puzzle going at all times. Being better at pushing liquids.
Yesterday: a dog walker, a crew of four replacing fascia boards, an HVAC guy stomping on the roof to repair the AC, lovely sister here to help, a pool guy traipsing past with his bucket of solvents, net on his shoulder. Grand Central.
I might be a teeny bit homesick.
This Blonde in your life is stunning. Pictures like paintings.

Crazy amazing if you ask me … you have a lot to be proud of. I’m really loving all the stories within the story. It’s been a great read!!
