1) BETHESDA: Just Chocolate Palace, a new bakery, will open in a new building on St. Elmo Ave. The bakery has applied for a construction permit. [PLYWOOD]

2) SHIRLINGTON: Dudley's Sports & Ale, from the owners of Copperwood Tavern, will open where The Bungalow Sports Grill used to be. The plan is for a big rooftop deck. An opening will happen early next year. [PLYWOOD]

3) GEORGETOWN: Baco Juice and Taco Bar is coming soon to Georgetown; they're currently hiring. [PLYWOOD]

4) SHAW: Hoa Tuc, a new Vietnamese restaurant, is opening in Shaw. Borderstan says a spring opening is planned. [PLYWOOD]

6) ASHBURN: Cava Grill will add another location, this time in Ashburn. [PLYWOOD]
