1) Penn Quarter: The walls have been papered up for Centrolina, the new restaurant from chef Amy Brandwein. It's set to open at CityCenterDC this spring, serving Italian fare. [PLYWOOD]

2) Adams Morgan: A coffeeshop called Sweet Science Coffee looks to be opening on the second floor of 18th and Wyoming Ave, NW. PoPville says it will be a permanent location rather than a pop-up. If the poster is any indication, they'll offer Chemex-brewed coffee. [PLYWOOD]

3) Courthouse: A pho restaurant will replace Toscana Grill this spring at 2300 Clarendon Blvd. ARLNOW says it's from the owners of Pho Deluxe. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

4) Atlas District: UrbanTurf got a look inside a portion of Maketto at an investors' event. A spokeswoman says the space is still unfinished, though, and likely won't open until March or April. [PLYWOOD]

5) Van Ness: A restaurant called Thai Pad will replace a former Quiznos at 4481 Connecticut Ave, NW. [PLYWOOD]

6) Logan Circle: Some more details have emerged about the restaurant replacing Diego. It will be called Provision No. 14 and serve American fare, rotating communal boards of food and big batch bottled cocktails . A late March opening is planned. [PLYWOOD]
