Shuping Peng
Shuping Peng leads Huawei Datacom Protocol Standards Team, working with customers, industry partners, and academics to develop technologies for enhancing the Internet. Before joining Huawei in 2016, she was working as a Research Fellow in the High Performance Networks (HPN) Group at the University of Bristol and then in the Fujitsu Laboratory of Europe in the UK for 6 years. During that time, she was heavily involved in EU and UK projects on the Future Internet (SDN, NFV, MEC, etc.) and Data Centres as a co-PI, under the framework including FP7, Horizon 2020, 5GPPP, EU-Japan, EPSRC, etc.
She started serving as the Secretary of the IETF RTG Area SPRING WG, then started co-chairing the ART Area Dispatch WG and the GEN Area Gendispatch WG, and the IETF-wide "Dispatch" Session (alldispatch). She serves as a member in both RTG Directorate and ARTART review teams to help review drafts. She also helped co-chairing the HotRFC Session.
She received her bachelor' s degree in Physics from Jilin University in 2010 and her doctorate in Communications Engineering focusing on the cross-layer protocol optimization from Peking University in 2015. She is currently serving as TPC (Technical Program Committee) members, workshops or conference sessions Chair and regular reviewers for over 10 international conferences and journals. She has published over 100 papers, Google Scholar Citations 2213, h-index 25, i10-index 49.
