I was thinking more in the sense of "things CarrotMan hates to hear", like the notion of him being a LOSER (which he definitely is, frakin' loser!), or mentions to his small hands xD
Lately, comparisons to Nixon seem to piss him off, too 🤣

Papa's boy. He owes everything to his father. He accomplished nothing by himself.
And quoting him in the TV show he was in: TRUMP, YOU'RE FIRED!

Plasma Desktop 5.19 is out!!
2020-06-09T20:31:22Z via Dianara To: Public CC: Followers
Plasma 5.19 is out! If we gave alliterative names to Plasma releases, this one could be "Polished Plasma". The effort developers have put into squashing bugs and removing annoying papercuts has been immense.
In this release, we have prioritized making Plasma more consistent, correcting and unifying designs of widgets and desktop elements; worked on giving you more control over your desktop by adding configuration options to the System Settings; and improved usability, making Plasma and its components easier to use and an overall more pleasurable experience.

Of course, my eternal gratitude to all Public Health Care workers, and I have mixed feelings about this: I guess they thank that kind of support in these difficult moments and I cant't help thinking of where were we when our Public Health Care was (stills is) been stolen and if we'll take actions to revert that once this situation is finished.
Talking about me, I filed a reclamation every time I suffered lack of service or sent to a private hospital because of that theft and encouraged every person who complained when waiting for a doctor to do the same, but I think I've never been to a "Marea Blanca" demonstration.

It's finally time for another minor release of Dianara, my desktop application for Pump.io.
The two main changes are the addition of a character picker (including emojis, of course) and spell checking. Both features use KDE Frameworks components, and are optional at compile-time.

Firefox Dark Mode, also for its settings pages
2019-11-15T16:32:09Z via Dianara To: Public CC: Followers
I use the great Dark Background and Light Text Firefox extension to try to make the freakishly WHITE WWW a little saner, and it mostly works very well. Problem: the extension isn't allowed to work on Firefox's internal pages, those with about:**** URLs, like the main Firefox Preferences and such.
Now, with Firefox 70, that has finally changed, and those pages will respect the browser's "dark mode" if it's enabled. But turns out we didn't need to wait for that! In Firefox 68 ESR one can already enable that, or something similar, via about:config (thanks to this bug report for the DBaLT extension!). This might have been available earlier, I have no idea.
Just go to about:config, find the browser.in-content.dark-mode variable and set it to true. Voila! Dark preferences! 🤘
