Pizza isn’t generally something that you think of as a healthy dinner, but the folks at Skinny Pizza are perhaps trying to change that perception.

CultureMap reports that the brand new concept will open its doors at 4970 Addison Circle Dr. in a space that formerly housed Patrizio’s. The new concept will bring quick-fired thin crust pies that can be made with gluten-free or whole wheat crusts for those who are really trying to keep things healthy.

Also on offer are “egg- and cholesterol-free, low in sodium, and high in fiber” pastas that can be served with a variety of Italian sauces and jazzed up with a massive selection of veggies. Organic salads and “100% natural drinks” will round out the menu.

Photos posted to Skinny Pizza’s Facebook page indicate that construction is currently underway to renovate the space. It’s expected to open within the next few months.
