The Galia Emperor (ガリア帝国皇帝 Garia teikoku kōtei?) aka Emperor Loewenherz (皇帝 レーベンヘルツ Kōtei Rēbenherutsu?) is a supporting character that appears in the CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon television series. He is the Emperor of the Galia Empire.
Personality & Character[]
Like all other humans that can use Mana, the Galia Emperor has been programed to instinctively hate Norma. When he discovered that his own daughter, Alektra is a Norma, he had her sent to Arzenal. He then covered up her true identity and exile, saying she died because of an illness, in order for the Galia Empire to save face. However, despite this, he did allow Alektra to keep her Royal Ring so she can use her Ragna-Mail in her fights.
When Embryo proposed they "destroy the world and create a new one" as the current one had failed, the Emperor was initially hesitant to join the cause. However, not having an alternative, he ultimately agreed to go along with the idea. Despite his initial hesitation, he praised Embryo when he began the creation of a new world by fusing the World of Mana and "The True Earth" together, seemingly not caring that it would also result in the destruction of his nation and the deaths of all of it's citizens. He was also shocked when Embryo revealed that he had no intension of taking him and the other world leaders to the new world and left them for dead, holding them responsible for the current worlds failure.
Skills and Abilities[]
The Galia Emperor had the ability to use the Light of Mana, using it to communicate with the other world leaders through holograms in a virtual space. However, after Embryo cut the Light of Mana off from it's power supply, the first DRAGON Aura, he lost all of his ability to use Mana.
History[]
During the meeting between the world leaders he was one of the leaders present. He looked the image of the attack on Arzenal by the DRAGONs, Julio Asuka Misurugi explained that there's no sign whatsoever that the Dawn Pillar was activated. The king of Rosenblum proposed to re-establish and to reinforce Arzenal immediately but he refused this proposal and showed an image of Villkiss, the King of Rosenblum says that it should have been destroyed during the revolt. The General Secretary of the Marmeria Republic criticized the negligence of the Rosenblum royal family's duty to manage Arzenal, he replied that the commanding officer reported nothing out of the ordinary. Embryo proposed to the world leaders to rebuilt the world, he accepted by supposing that is the only way. (CROSS ANGE: "Her Right Arm's Past")

- His character design is fairly similar to that of Patrick Zala, one of the main antagonists from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed.
- He ultimately had no onscreen interactions with his daughter, so it is unknown how they truly felt about each other.
