- First of all, you should register your copyright, maybe for the entire group of photos (considering them published on Commons). That should cost 55 $. More than three months passed, but you don't want to ask for 150 k$ of statutory damages anyway.
- Then, I suggest that you apply at https://photoclaim.com/ . I'm in contact with them and they're good people who really care about photography: they're effective without behaving like copyright trolls. Nemo 08:44, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks Nemo. Rather than go through that level of work, I sent Microsoft a notice of infringement. Hopefully that will get the problem fixed. I'm not interested in monetary damages for this, but I definitely want them to follow licensing requirements, and I think that they should know better than to publish an image with inadequate attribution. --Pine (✉) 01:18, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
