English: West College of Williams College, located at 931 Main Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts, is the original Williams College building. It was completed in 1790 as a free school with funds from the estate of Col. Ephraim Williams, for whom Williamstown was later named. It is the oldest building on the Williams College campus. The building was damaged by a fire on January 2, 1951, and was rebuilt by Perry, Shaw, Hepburn, Kehoe and Dean; it was later renovated and refurbished in 1999 by the Primary Group.
